This story is about D, a Dunpeal (born to a witch and a human), a renowned vampire hunter who has the ability to hunt nocturnal creatures, and is accepted by humans for this reason. He wants to save Charlotte Elbourne, the beloved daughter of a wealthy family, when the sun sets, the hunt begins. Charlotte's father has placed a large reward for his daughter, dead or alive.
